​ Hi Reader! As the holiday season approaches, it’s easy to feel swept up in the rush of to-do lists, holiday events, and the pressure to make everything perfect. But what if this year, we chose a different approach? What if we slowed down, embraced simplicity, and truly savored the magic of the season? This year, I’ve made a commitment to simplify and slow down. Instead of trying to pack in every holiday event or create a Pinterest-perfect Christmas, I’m focusing on what truly brings our family joy. I asked the kids what was important to them. We’re choosing just a few meaningful traditions—like lighting building a gingerbread house, baking cookies together, and taking evening walks to admire the Christmas lights. It’s been a beautiful shift. The pressure to do it all is melting away, and I already feel more present with my kids. They don’t need elaborate plans—they just need me, fully engaged and enjoying the season with them. Here are a few ideas to help you slow down and savor this holiday season:
